differentcultures Different cultures

Hello lovely,

Daddy and I can’t wait to teach you all about different cultures throughout the world. Mommy likes to travel a lot and has been to many places! Did you know that Daddy especially likes Japanese culture? He’s a big fan of Japanese art and even J-pop music! We both have a fascination with Asia (your stepsister’s name is Asia, isn’t that cool?) and hope to take you there one day to explore it with us! If we had the money, we’d go to Tokyo first because it seems so magical, urban, and awesome!

Some people say it’s a lot like New York City, but I’m convinced no place is exactly like New York. Daddy and I watched the ball go down last year (it was my second time there) in downtown Manhattan in Times Square and had a blast! Who would have thought that a year later, we’d be pregnant? Actually there was an interesting story about that. A year ago, when we were in New York, I played a fun-loving prank on your father where I pretended I might be pregnant (I wouldnt give him a yes or a no) and told him I wouldn’t tell him until the ball went down. The whole time, he was totally convinced I WAS pregnant and he actually seemed somewhat dissapointed that I wasn’t… although he was slightly relieved that I wasn’t since I opted to drink some alcohol that night. Anyway, during that period, I saw a side of your father I hadn’t seen before (in a good way) and it showed me that he’d be a great daddy if I ever *did* get pregnant. We love you so much. Daddy and I are super excited to get to know you and have fun with you. It would be great to take you all over the world!

Do you like Japanese art like your Daddy?

Love
Mommy
