I love knowing that one day you will see the world and want me and daddy there to show you the ropes. When I was a kid, your grandpa used to take me mountain climbing with my sister (your aunt), Tammy. We used to stand on top of the mountain tops and pose for photos, grinning, making funny faces, and having a good time. We’d climb big boulders, hang from trees, and go hiking as a family. Those were good times. My dad always told me, “You learn more from traveling and experiencing, than reading from a textbook.” I still believe that to this day. Most of the stuff I’ve learned, although I’ve got college, is from traveling from city to city, state to state, and country to country. The best wisdoms in life are often words spoken from complete strangers who offer their life learnings. One word of advice I’d like to give you is to constantly listen. Everyone has a voice and everyone wants to be heard. Throughout life, I’m sure you’ll watch me - which means I need to listen more myself! I promise to practice what I preach, so to speak. I’ll never tell or ask you to do something I haven’t done or am not willing to do myself. I love you and can’t wait to explore the wisdoms of the world with you!
Love
Mommy
